Greetings of Celebration!
Today we celebrate not only the completion of a school year but the strength, perseverance, and dreams of our dear graduates. This year reminded us that the journey of education is not always smooth. Despite the earthquake
that damaged parts of the school, and despite the typhoons and floods that came and went, our love for learning never faded. Education continued, because our teachers, parents, and learners believed that learning must go on.
Under the theme “Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character,” we affirm our shared mission to nurture learners who are skilled, principled, and ready to contribute to society. Competence empowers you to solve problems, while character guides you to lead with integrity, humility, and service.
Education is like preparing a ship for a long voyage. Knowledge becomes the compass that guides the direction, skills serve as the sails that move the ship forward, and values are the anchor that keeps it steady during storms. When learners are equipped with competence and strong character, they can confidently navigate the vast ocean of opportunities, ready to work, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to society.
To our graduates, carry forward the knowledge, values, and courage you have gained. May your journey ahead inspire others and bring positive changes to your communities.
And always remember our guiding principle in DepEd Region VII: “Una ang bata pirmi.” Because when learners succeed, our communities and our nation move forward.
